Sex toy verdicts you can audit
We read the spec sheets, the safety literature and the complaints so you do not have to. Every page tells you where its facts come from and what we still do not know.
Most sex toy recommendations fail for the same reason: they tell you what to buy without telling you how they decided. A list of ten products with five-star badges and no reasoning is a shopping feed, not advice.
PleasureVerdict works the other way round. Each guide starts with the decision you are actually making, names the two or three things that change the outcome, and only then points at products. If the deciding factor is a material certificate or a warranty length rather than a motor, the guide says so.
What makes a guide here different
- Sourced facts, labelled. Every table says whether a figure comes from the manufacturer, a retailer listing, an aggregate of public reviews or a regulatory document.
- No invented numbers. We do not publish a decibel reading or a score we did not obtain. Where a measurement would settle an argument and we do not have it, the guide says the question is open.
- Safety before features. Material, cleanability and body compatibility come before app features and pattern counts, because those are the parts you cannot fix later.
- Prices in your currency, retailers in your country. Eight versions of the site, each written for the market it serves, with no automatic redirect.
Start with the decision, not the product
If you already know the category, go straight to it from the menu. If you do not, the fastest route is to name the constraint that matters most to you: a budget ceiling, a body part, a noise limit in a shared flat, or a partner who needs to be able to use it one-handed.
Each category hub opens with that triage, then splits into the narrower guides where the real differences live. A guide to water-based lube is useful. A guide to "lube" in general is mostly a list of brands.
Questions people ask
- Do you test the products yourselves?
- Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Today our verdicts come from manufacturer documentation, retailer specifications, regulatory material and large volumes of public owner feedback. Every page carries that notice, and we will date and publish our method the day first-party measurement starts.
- How do you make money?
- Through affiliate links on outbound buttons, which cost you nothing and never change a verdict. Outbound links are marked, and our affiliate disclosure explains the arrangement in full.
- Why are there separate versions for the UK, Canada and Australia?
- Because price, available retailers, electrical standards and consumer law differ. One page written for all three is wrong in at least two of them. Nothing redirects you automatically: you choose your version from the header.

- Deals
A struck through price is a marketing decision, not a fact. How discounts are staged, when the real sales happen, and four ways to check a claim.
- Sex toys
Every category of sex toy, what each one is actually good at, and the three questions that narrow a thousand products down to a handful worth comparing.
- Brands
Which brands declare their materials, run their own store and honour a warranty, and which exist only as a logo on someone else’s factory output.
- Comparisons
A head-to-head needs two measurements made the same way. Nobody publishes them, so this section is empty. What to compare instead, and how.
